The Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) called for service stations to be required to display the cheapest and most current fuel prices to customers free of charge. It said drivers could save up to five euros per tank by finding cheaper stations more easily through route planners and price comparison websites.
The reported proposal concerns improving access to fuel-price information; no decision on its implementation was given.
