Australian broadcaster ABC has asked the far-right party One Nation to stop using the cartoon character Bluey in its political cartoons. One such cartoon from 2024 depicts Bluey driving a car over an Australian politician.

The cartoon recently attracted renewed attention after Australian parliamentarian Helen Haines was deliberately hit on 19 October and reportedly had both legs amputated as a result.
