Rijkswaterstaat said the A6 between Bant and Lemmer would be closed for road-marking work from 9 p.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday. Motorists must follow a signposted diversion, probably via the Lemsterweg.

The A6 between Lelystad and Emmeloord will then be closed in both directions on two nights for work on the Ketelbrug: from 7.30 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday, and from 7.30 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday. Traffic will be diverted via Dronten and Kampen. The closures will also be used to test the bridge, which will be opened several times. If the work is not completed as planned, a reserve closure is scheduled for Sunday night into Monday.
