CSG Comenius Mariënburg in Leeuwarden was presented as an “inspiration school” where other schools learn how to improve language teaching. The school encourages students to read with book stairs, a feature called “Boekflix” and a collection of 40,000 books. Even the toilets have been renamed “leesplees.” Language teaching is not limited to Dutch.
