Several factions in the Zeeland States called on the national government to explicitly oppose the construction of two nuclear power plants in the Paulinapolder in Zeeland-Flanders. ChristianUnion and PvdA-GroenLinks referred to two motions adopted in July, in which the States made clear that they did not want nuclear power plants in the Paulinapolder.
