Prominent members of the Dutch liberal VVD voiced concerns about the party’s current state and future. They pointed to rushed work and a lack of internal counterbalance as problems that were disrupting the party’s previously well-functioning organisation. Former VVD politician Fred Teeven said he could no longer explain some of the party’s choices.
