1 source

UEFA met in Berlin to define a strategy concerning FIFA president Gianni Infantino and presented an 11-point plan for comprehensive reform of FIFA. The plan's exact contents were not yet known, but it was intended to significantly reduce the FIFA president's power so that he could no longer act alone. Infantino was the only declared candidate for FIFA's presidential election, while UEFA had not yet found a broad-based countercandidate. The European confederation was working on a profile for a possible challenger, with candidates required to apply by 18 November. The election is scheduled for 18 March in Rabat, Morocco.
