Justice Minister Van Weel said in the House of Representatives that a pro-Hamas banner was tasteless and objectionable but not punishable. He said the House should expedite consideration of a law criminalizing the glorification of terrorism, after BBB MP Caroline van der Plas asked why a demonstration featuring pro-Hamas banners in Amsterdam had been allowed to continue that weekend.
