Utrecht to accommodate travellers in hotels and reopen Joseph Haydnlaan centre temporarily

The municipality of Utrecht is set to accommodate travellers in hotels to ease pressure on the crowded reception centres in Ter Apel and Zevenaar. The number of people involved and the hotels to be used are not known, and residents have not been informed. In addition, 120 asylum seekers from Ter Apel will be accommodated at the temporarily vacant asylum seekers’ centre on Joseph Haydnlaan.
