Çetin G. (56), described as a drug trafficker from Schiedam and also known as “the man of 500 million”, must appear before the courts in Turkey again. He was acquitted two years ago in a case involving a possible prison sentence of 1,482 years.

The Turkish Court of Appeal has overturned that acquittal, citing an incomplete investigation and insufficient reasoning. The case is therefore being reopened, according to the account.
