Tony, 69, was sentenced by a court in Den Bosch to TBS with compulsory treatment after his campaign against what he considered an excessively large construction project in Heesch escalated into stalking. He described himself as a whistleblower and a fighter against injustice. His appeal did not change the outcome. Earlier, his actions had reportedly cost him his marriage, home and freedom.

He was described as non-aggressive but persistent when he believed he had been wronged. He is now to enter a TBS clinic.
