The 61st Golden Televizier-Ring Gala was held at Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam. De Bondgenoten, Kassa and Woeste Grond were nominated for the Golden Televizier-Ring, the award for best programme; at the latest reporting, that prize had not yet been awarded. Jan Versteegh won the Televizier-Ring Presentator, ahead of Tim Hofman and Thomas van Groningen. Even tot Hier, presented by Niels van der Laan and Jeroen Woe, won the Televizier-Ring Impact for its fundraising campaign for Ukraine. A single report said the campaign raised 3 million euros after an initial target of 90,000 euros.

Tobias Camman was reported to have prepared extensively for the Golden Televizier-Ring Gala, where he had a chance to win the Televizier-Ring Online video series award for “Tobi’s Dining Club.” He had his suit made in Italy months earlier and enlisted friends Daan Boom and Stijn van Vliet to help choose his outfit. On the evening before the gala, Camman appeared in style on the blue carpet with Boom and Van Vliet beside him.

Bram Krikke was nominated for the Televizier-Ring Talent Award but reportedly did not want to attend the gala. His friend Daan Boom took his place. Krikke reportedly gave a job in Germany as the reason for missing the ceremony, but that explanation was exposed as an excuse during a radio segment.
