Squatters have reportedly been living since last week in the former H.W. Meyer bookshop on Korte Jansstraat in the city centre, after the building had stood empty for 26 years. On Saturday 10 October, they welcomed local residents and other interested visitors with coffee and cake, giving them an opportunity to meet the new occupants and view the building.
