Police sought witnesses and information after a shooting at a warehouse on Gateway in Bergen op Zoom on 4 December 2025, which was possibly preceded by a drug-related conflict. Shell casings were found, but no bullet impacts were found at the scene.

Footage released through a television programme showed a man climbing over a gate and running to a waiting BMW X1 while two men pursued him. One of the pursuers fired at the car as it drove away. Police later found the black BMW on a public road in Amsterdam with several bullet holes on its left side and seized it. Investigators also identified a black Audi Q5 near the shooting and asked for information about that vehicle and its occupants. Police briefly held two men near a scooter at the scene; after one did not raise his hands, officers fired a warning shot, but the men were not involved in the shooting.
