Utrecht’s mayor and aldermen decided that the seven Skaeve Huse in Leidsche Rijn Centrum Oost will move to the Strijlandweg. The homes are intended for people who have difficulty living in a regular residential environment, and the move must be completed by July 2029 at the latest. At the new location, two or three homes may be within 100 metres of the highway. The municipality is thereby departing from its own health policy.
