The Province of Drenthe, foundation Aandensland and RTV Drenthe have begun a search for a new provincial anthem, saying the existing song, “Mien Drenthe”, is unfamiliar to many residents. Musician Bert Hadders is among those involved in creating new songs. Three creators are to make songs, after which the public can vote on them. The search will determine whether a new Drenthe anthem is needed.
