Police are still searching for Trudy, a 75-year-old woman from Heiloo who has been missing since February. Witness appeals, police investigations and searches in the Heilooërbos in the spring produced no leads. On 24 June, police carried out another large-scale search in her street and home on De Gouwe Boom, but this also did not produce a breakthrough. Neighbors said they had not seen police in the area for months and questioned whether the investigation had stopped. A police spokesperson said investigations into missing people are never stopped.
