Robbert de Vos, 75, is stopping after 30 years with Robberts Guitars, his guitar shop and music school on Koninginneweg in Hilversum. He built guitars for Prince, Jan Akkerman and BZN, and thousands of children and adults learned to play guitar or drums there.

De Vos said he wants to spend more time on his foundation, Music kids, which brings music to children in hospitals. He described the business as a social place and said he would not sit still.
