Two reviews assessed the musical & Juliet, a colorful adaptation of Romeo and Juliet in which Juliet takes control. Both described it as a spectacle-heavy production, with one review noting that its bright pink, glittering presentation suited the current spirit of the times.

The reviews were mixed overall. One found the show capable of providing a wonderful evening but also identified irritating flaws, while the other said the production ultimately did not succeed despite its contemporary approach.
