Residents of the Hoevendijk area in Raamsdonksveer reported renewed nuisance from a large group of young people, including loud fireworks explosions, filming passers-by and fireworks allegedly being thrown at people. Some residents said they no longer felt safe outside at night. The later report also described youths as masked and said the problems had persisted for weeks.

The disturbance had previously led to an emergency order that prohibited group formation, fireworks, flammable materials, alcohol and face coverings, alongside increased surveillance. Residents said the situation had improved for a time but had worsened again despite those measures and the current fireworks ban. One resident said enforcement was not visible.
