Students at ROC van Twente drew attention on Friday 9 October to the acceptance of LGBTQI+ young people by handing out rainbow bracelets and holding conversations. The school said full acceptance was not yet self-evident, with positive reactions alongside expressions of disgust. The activities took place amid reports of a sharp decline in acceptance among young people over four years and calls for greater visibility for the LGBTQI+ community in Twente schools.
