The provinces of Gelderland, Flevoland and Overijssel agreed with bus operator EBS to end its IJssel-Vecht public-transport concession early, on 7 July 2029 rather than at the end of 2035. The decision followed substantial financial losses and financial problems at EBS. The three provinces will contribute financially over the next three years to keep local and urban bus services running.
