Utrecht Mayor Sharon Dijksma said she would propose at the beginning of next year a different use of Domplein during commemorations, including examining whether the resistance monument could be used exclusively on 4 May. She made the statement in the city council after a discussion about the Nakba remembrance, which had caused commotion over a meeting at the monument.
