The court in Roermond sentenced Janus K., 30, to five years in prison for causing the death of four-year-old Djorginyo in a crash in Maastricht in March. His driving licence was revoked for five years.

K. had been drinking and was driving at excessive speed when he hit the boy's stroller in the Lord district. The boy's mother was seriously injured.
