The Public Prosecution Service sought a 15-month prison sentence and a TBS order with compulsory treatment for Mike K., 35, from De Meern. He is suspected of setting fire to two vans around the turn of the year, stabbing a police dog and threatening police officers with knives.

K. told the court that he had wanted police to shoot him.
