Police were seeking witnesses after a 28-year-old man was seriously assaulted by several people on the Piusstraat in Tilburg on a Sunday night around 10:30. He suffered multiple injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The suspects, possibly a group of four men and four women wearing dark clothing, had fled.

Police also shared recognizable images of two men suspected of assaulting a 52-year-old cyclist in the Zuid-Oosterstraat on the night of 9 to 10 May. He was stopped by a group of about 20 young people, pushed from his bicycle and kicked and beaten. He suffered injuries that left him barely able to chew for days and with difficulty walking. The two men had previously appeared unrecognizably in CCTV footage; police made their images recognizable after they did not come forward.
