The Buitenhoutsedreef in Almere is partly closed on Wednesday and Thursday for roadwork. The section between the Interring and the Trekweg is closed from 9:00 to 15:00, with the municipality citing the road’s heavy use during the morning and evening rush hours in Almere Buiten.

From October 16 to October 24, work continues on the section between the Trekweg and the Equator. One lane remains available from 9:00 to 15:00, with traffic controllers present. Guardrails are also being installed at several locations along the Buitenhoutsedreef to prevent dangerous traffic situations and meet current safety requirements.
