Orange-Rood beat Real Club de Polo 2-0 at home in the first round of the Euro Hockey League. The result improved the Eindhoven side's chances of reaching the final weekend. Orange-Rood is due to face England's Wimbledon on Sunday. A win would guarantee a place in the quarter-finals at the end of March, while a draw could theoretically also be enough.
