A proposed 16-hectare solar park near Barchem, described as roughly the size of 22 football fields, has faced opposition since the TP Solar Plan-Bekenschot project began in 2019. Lochem municipal council approved it last year, and opponents and other parties were due to appear before the administrative judge in Arnhem on Monday. The case is still pending.
