Nuremberg Airport was temporarily closed by police on Tuesday after an arriving passenger flight from the Greek island of Corfu prompted an unconfirmed in-flight emergency. Eurofighter jets escorted the aircraft, according to one report.

An airport spokesperson said there appeared to be no danger by the time of the later report.
