Northern lights visible in parts of the Netherlands

The northern lights were visible in parts of the Netherlands on Saturday night, including locations in Brabant and Gelderland. Clear spells offered the best chance of observing the phenomenon, with the greatest chance reported in the south, including the northwest of Limburg. The lights were barely visible to the naked eye but could be captured by camera, making this chiefly a photographic display. Cloud cover meant observers in some areas had to wait for clearer skies.
