Netflix cut about 1,000 jobs worldwide, according to reports based on an email to staff from co-chief executives Greg Peters and Ted Sarandos. One report said the cuts represented 6% of the company’s global workforce.

The reductions were described as Netflix’s largest since 2022 and were linked in the reports to slowing growth.
