Traffic on the N211 between the Wippolderlaan and the Westland reportedly improved after a new roundabout and flyover opened. However, motorists leaving The Hague’s Wateringse Veld face long traffic jams each morning, with one road user saying the journey takes at least half an hour longer.

The congestion has caused frustration among road users, who questioned the design of the new connection.
