An event called “Who sees me” was held on Mental Health Day, 10 October, at the LeerWerkLab in Almere Stad. It offered people a listening ear and various workshops. Sabine Bulder spoke about her experience with depression and her recovery. She now helps people with psychological problems and said that mental health difficulties can disrupt work, relationships and daily life. She also said that shame and stigma still play a role in how people view such problems.
