Mensur Suljovic drew criticism at the Swiss Darts Trophy in Basel after an incident while opponent Ross Smith was attempting a double. Reports said Suljovic's conduct was not appreciated by Smith and the crowd.

Suljovic initially showed no regret and made a remark described as unfriendly toward women. He later apologised for the incident.
