Martijn found accompaniment for Ajax match

Martijn, a 52-year-old wheelchair user from Amsterdam, needed an accompanying person to attend Ajax’s match against NEC at the Johan Cruijff Arena after his usual support became unavailable because of family circumstances. Supporters with disabilities are required to bring accompaniment, including for possible stadium evacuations. After an appeal, Martijn found someone to accompany him and was able to attend the match.

Ajax coach Míchel Sánchez said Caio Henrique is unavailable for the home match against NEC and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks. Aaron Bouwman has returned to the squad.
