Pension De Schuur on Schuttershofstraat in Zierikzee appeared in a popular MAX television programme in 2017. Its owners, Julian Huis in ’t Veld and Sylvia Vergeer, had by then become involved in a serious legal dispute with the municipality. The legal struggle has lasted twelve years, and its end is still not in sight.
