A leaked infrastructure plan said the cabinet would allocate EUR 16 billion over the next few years to the maintenance and renewal of infrastructure, including bridges, roads and locks that need to be replaced. Maintenance would take precedence over new projects, and 29 planned long-term projects would not proceed for the time being.
