The first of six Easy Max 2.0 ships was due to be launched on Thursday morning at the Niestern Sander shipyard in Delfzijl. The vessel was built for Royal Wagenborg, where Egbert Vuursteen was due to step down as chief executive later that day. The account also described Vuursteen as waving goodbye to Wagenborg and compared shipbuilding in Groningen with a small Gaulish village.
