Photographer and filmmaker Kadir van Lohuizen investigated the energy transition in and around the North Sea for his project *Nieuwe Energie*. The project depicts large-scale developments and infrastructure, whose scale he said was a challenge to convey through photography. The transition was described as complex and not harmless.
