Halloween party at Rotterdam’s Laurenskerk

A planned XXL Halloween party at Rotterdam’s Laurenskerk on 31 October drew criticism from evangelist Martin Rozema, who appealed to the church foundation’s board, and from Protestants Nederland spokesperson Robbert-Jan van de Werken. Van de Werken started a petition to stop the event, which had received 7,500 signatures in just over 24 hours. The foundation that operates the church sees no reason to cancel the party.
