Goudstikker heirs pursue restitution claims for about a hundred artworks

The heirs of Dutch art dealer Jacques Goudstikker have made restitution claims concerning about a hundred works of art held by cultural institutions and private individuals. His granddaughter, Charlène von Saher, said she was offended by the suggestion that heirs pursue such claims for money. She said Goudstikker’s “black book” was crucial and recalled wondering what her grandmother thought when she found the notebook on Goudstikker’s body.
