Police are seeking a woman suspected of buying gift cards with bank details stolen from a 42-year-old woman in Berkel-Enschot. According to a single report, the victim entered her address and bank details on a fraudulent delivery-message website on 3 April after receiving a text about an undeliverable parcel she had been expecting.
Two days later, the victim's bank account was linked to an unknown phone in Utrecht. Someone then used the digital payment card on that phone to buy gift cards at three supermarkets before the bank blocked the account. The suspect was filmed paying by phone at an Albert Heijn on Potterstraat and at a supermarket on Biltstraat; she was described as having long black hair and wearing a cap, a beige or khaki coat, wide-leg jeans and a black shoulder bag.
