Gerel Palm, 42, has been held in a Brazilian prison for more than five years, according to the account. He was described as one of the most important hitmen in the Mocro mafia and was sentenced in the Netherlands to 20 years in prison for a 2016 double attempted murder in Noordeloos.

The account said Palm remained imprisoned in Brazil while the search for Bolle Jos continued and pressure on Sierra Leone increased.
