Further delay to Amsterdam’s Oostbrug project

Amsterdam’s Oostbrug project was reported to have been delayed again, with substantial additional funding still needed. The update came as the Court of Auditors strongly criticized the city’s budget; JA21 politician Sytze Rijpkema said parking revenues may have been spent incorrectly for years. The city’s demographic development was also raised as a concern. The discussion additionally covered a proposed 20 km/h cycling trial on part of the Amstelveenseweg and the smoking and vaping ban around schools in Amsterdam.
