The Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal ruled that the State Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature had no valid reason not to enforce the ban on amputating pigs’ tails. The ruling upheld an appeal by the Stichting Varkens in Nood against the state.
