Aid organisation Doors Wide Open from Goor won an Appeltje van Oranje at Noordeinde Palace in The Hague. Queen Máxima presented the award. The awards, in their 24th edition, were given to three social organisations. The jury said Doors Wide Open not only helps people but also gives them an opportunity to play a meaningful role.
