Seventy-eight-year-old Herman Brand said he gets into daily disputes with cyclists riding fatbikes through the pedestrian zone at Amsterdam’s Boven ’t IJ shopping centre. He visits the mall every day with his mobility scooter and said that when he challenges cyclists about their behaviour, they shout at him and have threatened to wait for him.
