The Hague rock band Di-rect released its album I: Keep the Fire On, the first part of a new project, shortly after its three concerts at De Kuip. Bassist Bas van Wageningen said the band had planned to take a break until November but did not follow through with that plan.
The album includes the song Brother, which addresses several deaths in the band members’ families. The band presented the song as a way of keeping their deceased relatives alive.
