Ballast came loose from a crane truck while it was moving in Nijmegen on Monday morning and severely damaged an RRReis bus. A 17-year-old passenger was injured and taken to hospital by ambulance.

One report said the loose counterweight arm also struck three lampposts and a commercial sign before swinging toward a bus stop near the bus.
